Read Receipts for Confluence is published by Bevelpine Apps. This policy explains what data the app handles. It is short because the app stores very little.
What the app stores When a reader acknowledges a page, the app records three things: the reader’s Atlassian account ID, the ID of the page, and the date and time of the click. For each configured page it also stores the page’s settings: whether acknowledgement is required, the account IDs of the people asked to acknowledge, and the account ID of the person managing the setting.
That is the complete list. The app does not store names, email addresses, page content, or anything else. Names shown in the app are rendered by Confluence itself from account IDs at display time.
Where it is stored All data lives in Atlassian’s own Forge hosted storage, inside your Atlassian tenancy. The app runs entirely on Atlassian’s infrastructure.
What leaves Atlassian Nothing. The app makes no calls to any external service. No analytics, no tracking, no third parties, no data transfer of any kind outside your Atlassian tenancy. The app’s only declared permission is access to its own storage.
How long data is kept Acknowledgement records are kept for as long as the app is installed — they are compliance records, and they are never edited or overwritten. If you uninstall the app, stored data is deleted in line with Atlassian’s data lifecycle for Forge-hosted storage, which provides a 21-day recovery window after uninstall.
Your rights To ask about, correct, or erase data the app holds about you, contact bevelpine.support@proton.me. Because all data lives inside your organisation’s Atlassian tenancy, your own Confluence administrator also controls it — uninstalling the app removes it as described above.
